Blinding Faith (White)

Peaceful dove flies gracefully across the pale sky

With childlike innocence staring in wonder

The restricted mind never questions why

As the pure do not fall under

The vile veil of sweet sin

Fair slender hands untouched as birth

Flitted along blank pages

That forever holds their worth

And hold the fight that damages

The vile veil of sweet sin

Ghostly rules that are not lost in time

Leaves the soul barren

Void of all of life’s joyful rhyme

Chastened against the greed filled siren

Of the vile veil of sweet sin
