Blackout

Blackout poetry, also known as erasure poetry, is taking any written content and redacting words until something new is created.

Compassion falls easily.

It flaps its wings like nocturnal blackness travels over the full-starred heavens

Within seconds of finishing, he couldn’t quite remember

Nothing seems wasteful to the stars

Practical people weary of no purpose.

Daydreaming I was king of nothing.
