I don’t need some grandiose declaration

Or for you to serenade me

For me to understand that you love me.

 

It is in the quiet moments

Where we are just us

That I can almost tangible feel it.

 

So no, I don’t need some spectacle

To show me when I can already tell

And in case you couldn’t tell, I love you too.
