New series: Lovesick

It's February again! So that means in honor of Valentine's I'm doing another series. From the first to Valentine's I'll be posting 2 poems, one for the good side of love and one for the worst. Blackouts and Haikus will continue on their normal schedule. Happy Valentine!

Heartless

Is it considered murder If there is no body  to mourn Just my ripped apart heart My body is whole But I cannot recognize The thing that was my heart -Kel Dayheart

Third Degree Burns

How was I to know That one person could, Could change everything Could set the world on fire And that I would smile Right there in the ash Glad to burn Because to burn Would mean I had your attention However fleeting -Kel Dayheart

Pulled Seams

My arms wrapped around my waist Does nothing to help Hold me together When my seams are shredded And my heart Is spilling out Bleeding for the world to see -Kel Dayheart

Kinder Love

It would have been kinder To dropkick me Off a twenty story building Instead of crushing my heart With the same hands I so freely gave it to -Kel Dayheart
