As a child, I would build Myself a castle of cardboard Just big enough for me and teddy So we could rule In the shadows -Kel Dayheart

Glimpse

I only catch a glimpse Once in a while I see the world-weary face within This youthful countenance And I wonder how anyone believes that I am younger than I am -Kel Dayheart

These Lines

My life is written on my skin Every bump and scrap has left a memory Some good, Some not so good   The lines of my story are laid out bare In the shape of my smile To the wrinkles forming Every moment leaves an etching -Kel Dayheart
