The explosion hit the center torn and splintered
Haiku #206
This life, dumpster fire Now there is no difference What a year it's been
Burned at the Stake
The fire has caught And I feel it
Casting
Light the candles One by one
Nothing but Ash
The world is on fire And no one cares To fix it -Kel Dayheart
Runaway Sparks
As we try to put out the fires We don't notice the sparks That are not quite snuffed And snuck away To continue causing chaos -Kel Dayheart
Fluttering Flame
Fireflies flutter from the flame Transforming into ashy butterflies Twirling in the night air Warmth of summer in dead of night Breezy tune of woodlands And the forest rejoices -Kel Dayheart
By Fire’s Light
Burned bridges light the way To a newer, brighter path -Kel Dayheart
Haiku #140
Fingers strike a match
Fire alights for a moment
Dancing in the air
Matchbox Thoughts
I carry a matchbox In my pocket For anytime I need to light My inspiration -Kel Dayheart
