Porcelain

Darling doll With painted face And fragile delicate features Silk, lace, and everything nice Covering the little dear -Kel Dayheart

Dry Heat

Like cream silk sheets Sand dunes liter the desert As wrinkles crinkle the sheets Imitating waves -Kel Dayheart

Play Time

You and I, we met time and time again.   You stand tall amongst the crowd.   While I duck behind to startle you.   You and I are meant for more.   So will you come play with me? -Kel Dayheart

Blooming

Sunflowers tower over like soldiers Guardians of the garden Watching over all the little sprouts To make sure they grow To make sure they bloom -Kel Dayheart

Figment

Fragment of a figment Illuminates the darkness for only a brief moment A spark Gone before eyes can adjust Leaving a feeling of longing- Longing for a place to belong -Kel Dayheart * A reposting of my first poem here
