There was broken glass Scattered across the entryway
Chills
There is a chill in the air That rushes up my spine
Dome of Whispers
The air chills upon entering As hollow air follows behind
Counteraction
This life is a curse That I hope to find
Mischief’s Afoot
Bats flying free When witches cackle Fill the night
Ghost of Me
This abandoned house Creaks with old ghosts
Dead Rising
A murder of crows Croak a sound
Insanity Seeps Through
His smile was all teeth And impossible large
Rusted
Blood of my enemies run red On the cobblestone road
Halloweeeeeeeeeen!
It's that time of year again: Halloween, which means double themed poems. October poems will be filled with traditional Halloween, creepy, fear, anger, and/or death. Pretty much anything that fits the season. Haikus and quotes will fit the holiday but blackouts will continue as usual. -Kel Dayheart
